Greetings from …. Newark?
My Israel vacation which was short to begin with now has an added 16 hour tour of Newark, NJ. It seems El Al had oversold about 20-40 seats on the Tel Aviv flight, leaving me and several others stranded. I’m writing from the Ramada near the airport which isn’t too bad, and about to dine on the fine cuisine of the Starlite cafe. On the plane I pulled out a notebook with some notes from my Costa Rica trip reminding me that its been so many months since posting a blog entry… I run into so many different adventures that all seem to deserve writing about and then get swamped with work and … Ahh you know the drill
Anyway, I am excited about my trip, seeing my family, including my new niece. My brother is picking me up at the airport tomorrow morning and I guess I will start planning my vacation at that point. On a plus is that El Al is giving me a free round trip to be used anytime within the next year, so I have my next world travel vacation paid for, well at least the airfare part. I am still exhausted from this week but actually more rested today then when I started this journey. With a 2pm flight, I may be able to attempt a jet lag reset before I arrive. Any way, going to eat my breakfast. It would be nice to get some more entries here as the past year has flown by so fast. OK, more later…
