Looking Forward To Bringing The Cats Back Home
Looking forward to picking up Charlie and Matilda from the doctor tomorrow, they went in yesterday for their spay/neuter. They said I could have picked up Charlie sooner, but instead I opted to have him boarded next to Matilda so they can have each other’s company. I’m hoping these surgeries haven’t stopped their neat behaviors I so enjoy and know I have to hold back from encouraging Matilda to do her flips for about a week while she recovers. Most importantly kitties are healthy and everything went fine according to their Doctor. I was rather reluctant even to bring them in for surgery. I ‘know’ I needed to spay/neuter, I’ve just had a horrible track record overall at veterinarians – so I worry. Plus, can any man honestly bring in their male kitten to be neutered without questioning if it really needs to be done – after all he hadn’t sprayed and isn’t violent (but each of these instincts theoretically could surface). I over think everything, I just miss these cats and realize this is their first night away from home since they got here. I guess it also makes me realize how much these cool critters have really become part of my life.
