Greetings from the friendly skies… This is officially my first in-flight blog entry. Please direct your attention to the flight attendant, who will demonstrate the safety features of our Embrarer 145 Regional Jet Aircraft. For those of you who haven’t been in a car or plane since the 1940′s, allow me to demonstrate how to use this new-fashioned buckle seatbelt. Yikes! Anyway, we sat on the tarmac for only a half an hour this time with about 20 planes lined up behind us. Nice to finally be in the air for my exciting week in Ohio and Michigan. Hey watch out for that unexpected turbulance… The captain has turned on the fasten seatbelt light and this flight is non smoking. I always wonder how old these airplanes are when they have ashtrays and I don’t think people have been allowed to smoke in planes for over 20 years.
