Burger Showdown!

I’m not sure how my burger showdown started, but it’s been a fun journey so far! I decided to update this as an ongoing blog format. I really like hamburgers…

This started with the Wendy’s Baconator. I was sold from the name as I really like bacon! I will be honest – at first glance, this was rather gross looking. The flavor was very good. Fries severely overcooked. Frosty was good. It was rather greasy and although tasty (bacon makes lots of things better), the presentation left some serious room for improvement and I’ll likely not return soon.

Next burger is the McDonald’s McAngus - How could I resist the culinary delights of the golden arches, especially after seeing advertisements boasting 1/3 lb. burgers. I got the mushroom swiss with chocolate shake – Tasty! I returned to McDonald’s to try the bacon McAngus, but wasn’t very impressed whatsoever.

Continuing on my journey of fast food delights, I’m reluctantly sharing my Culver’s review. Proximity wise, Culver’s is the closest burger place to my home, implying it would be there the freshest. This would have been best left uneaten. I’m way beyond disappointed and regrettably attempted to eat part of this, as it was a very bad experience, my most regretted burger to date, and possibly even the end of my fast food digressions. I’m surprised as I’ve had good Culver’s burgers before.

For burgers on the cheap, I’ve enjoyed relatively consistent quality with Burger King’s Whopper. And, although not “drive through burgers” like the rest here, for a fast burger I’ve been very impressed every time I’ve had a burger at Denny’s – kudos Denny’s burger makers! Anyone want me to review their burgers? Let me know!
