Nietzsche’s Lacerations
Not a great day today for Nietzsche the Iguana. For many years he has had a beautiful long tail, and now he has been shortened by 18″. I’m not sure if he hit his tail against the cage, or lost this to a fight with Junior, or caught up climbing. I just hope he doesn’t get some kind of infection. There are other marks and scrapes on his tail. His vet isn’t open until Monday, so I will watch him this closely this weekend and call then Monday morning.
