Aikido originated as a martial art sometime in the early half of the 20th century. The martial art was created by Morihei Ueshiba and it was borne out of his search for a technique that provided contentment and satisfaction technically and spiritually at the same time.

Aikido is a simple Japanese martial art which was created in the early parts of the 20th century. It was created by Morihei Ueshiba who was also known as O Sensei or Great Teacher. The O Sensei was a disciplined master of different martial arts principles and philosophies. Out this exhaustive knowledge in both armed and unarmed combats Ueshiba formed Aikido. Aikido was termed a very efficient martial art but the training espoused in Aikido is not for street fighting or the advancement of students in sporting tournaments. Aikido focuses on the perfection of character as well as the development of positive human qualities like compassion, courage, endurance and inner strength as well.

Aikido is often seen by some as the modern Japanese Budo. This martial art places and emphasis on a person developing their physical and spiritual selves, Aikido basically means a way for the body to harmonize with the spirit. It is also a study of the laws of nature and how best these laws can harmonize perfectly with the mind and body of an individual.

Ever since the time where Aikido was developed in the hands of its creator Morihei Ueshiba, the martial art has evolved through a number of some serious changes. Because of the need to teach, practice and train with Aikido, the martial art has been evolved into so many different forms. Regardless of these changes Aikido still retains the same basic principles which make it a martial art that is designed to achieve peace and harmony without the use of undue force.

It is possible to lose weight on Atkins, and you can do it quickly. The problem is that you could be potentially denying your body of essential nutrients. You must understand that carbs are initial source of energy. So, if you cut carbs out of your diet completely, you will be a zombie. You might be a skinny zombie, but you will not have the energy to enjoy everyday activity and eventually your body will retaliate.
